网络信息资源具有海量、异构、分布式等特点，这为网络信息资源的有效组织、检索、利用和长久保存等需求带来了难题。针对这些问题，建立有效的数字仓储是一项重要的解决方法，这也成为数字图书馆的重要研究方向之一。Fedora是目前已经投入实际使用的成功的数字仓储实例之一，尤其适合对大范围、海量的数字资源进行分布式管理，是当今比较流行的开源数字资源管理系统。

| Abstract: The mass and diversity of on-line information resources bring problems to the origination, retrieval, utilize and perverse of information. In this situation, establishing digital repository is a very important method and also the emphasis of digital library research. Fedora has achieved great success in practice, especially for the distributed management of mass information, making it a very popular open digital repository. |
