      基础研究的隐性知识特征决定了其隐性知识的传播具有地理空间的局限性。对企业而言,在其基于专利发明的技术创新过程中,企业所处的地理机会能够提供的科学环境对其有效地利用基础研究知识也有着重要影响。本文以基础研究的知识溢出特征为研究出发点,以2001-2007年间在美国专利贸易局(USPTO)申请专利并得到授权的中国企业为样本,应用改进的知识生产函数模型实证研究了企业在吸收和利用基础研究的过程中,企业与大学合作进行的基础研究与其专利发明的地理邻近性特征。
英文摘要:
      The characteristics of basic research result in the limitation of spreading of tacit knowledge on the geographical space. In the process of technological innovation based on patent invention, geography opportunity of outside location of firms will affect the activities of patented invention. In this paper, the empirical analysis has been made to study the relationship between basic research and patented invention in the context of China based on the sample of USPTO patents from 2001-2007. And we made the improved model for Griliches–Jaffe knowledge production function model which introduced the variable to discriminate the distance at geographical level between firms and public research sectors to measure the affection of basic research on patented inventions.
