| The Rosetta Project is a global collaborative effort initialized by the Long Now Foundation to build an online archive of all the documented human languages that will serve as the premier reference and research tool for the world’s languages. As an important project funded by NSF NSDL, it uses Web 2.0 technologies to maintain a flexible structure that allows for changes to information and relationships between information and to allow for research and resources sharing. This article provides an extended review on the construction and current situation of the digital library, including project review, resources organization, services features, metadata scheme and technological infrastructure. Author's comments and suggestion are also given.
