| The EU \"Database Protection Directive\" has been implemented for 10 years, but not as expected to promote the development of the European database industry rapidly, This paper reveals the problems of the “sui generis” right protection showing in practice and its influence on European database industry, then holds that the provisions of Directive 96/9/EC must be improved,and gives several advises to amending. |
