| In Johns Hopkins University Libraries, a clear strategic plan was outlined, several projects were approved to support the development of the libraries,a variety of user services were stressed, and paflicularly the embedded subject services were provided mainly by the informationists. The investigation makes us think deeply the essence and function of the library. There are similar issues that libraries home and abroad are facing. We need to explore the future development trends of the library continuously. |
