| The article discussed the conceptual connotation of the Long Tail Theorv and its influence and enlightenment which are brought to the field of libraries.Based on the Long Tail Theory, it analyzed the existing problems which the university digital libraries have nowadays in the share of the resources, and detailed the relationship between the ZADL project and the Long Tail Theory and the architectural goal and its constructive condition. It has set up the synchronic research on the project based on the content and methods of the Long Tail Theory, using the research results to guide the contruction of resources in university digital libraries. |
