| This paper reviews briefly the computing history, therefore points that, in the cloud computing environment, these current Integrated Library Systems would be more appropriately called something like library services platforms, service-oriented architectures and browser-based interfaces are the key technologies preferred for new software development efforts. Finally, this paper forecasts the adoption process of cloud computing in libraries. |
