| In the 90’s of last century, Germany has established a relatively complete system in the area of water pollution control and drinking water safety with plenty of policies and regulations, management system and science and technology support. The federal government department has always attached importance to the support and application of water science and technology innovation. This report analyzes the basic situation of water resources management in Germany, the institutional mechanisms and the recent focus on the promotion of research and development in the area of water pollution control and drinking water safety by the federal government. |
