| Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is a global entrepreneurship survey and research project launched in 1997. It aims to track the status and trends of global entrepreneurship activities. This paper introduces the conceptual framework, research methods and indicators of GEM, then compares the differences of entrepreneurship among different stages of developmental countries, including factor-driven, efficiency-driven and innovation-driven economies. |
