| This paper analyses the concept of information recommendation(IR) and information filtering(IF), and demonstrates their difference and respective application domain with some application instance. Lastly, this paper argues that IR and IF should be differentiated clearly in the context of Chinese language and this differentiation is helpful to understand these concepts for those Chinese readers who have no technical background. |
