| The National Gallery of the Spoken Word (NGSW) is one of NSF and Digital Libraries Initiative Phase 2 (DLI2) funded projects. As a repository for important audio materials collected from libraries across the United States it provides spoken word collections spanning the 20th century including speeches, news broadcasts and recordings that are of historical content fully-searchable online. In this paper, we first take an overview of the NGSW, and then introduce its resources organization, technologies employed and services provided. Author's comments and suggestion for its improvements are also given. |
