This paper analyzed the current situation and development trends of energy-efficient building (EEB) technologies in the EU, and introduced the relevant demands of some directives including energy performance buildings directives (EPBD) and energy-efficient services directives (EESD). EU and its member states have made standards for EEB and taken some measures to promote the application of EEB technology, such as, enhancing the energy-saving and emission-reducing in construction industries, improving energy efficiency, and facilitating application of renewable energy technology, etc., which could provide useful references for the
development of EEB technologies in China. |
