| Based on the reference papers both at home and abroad, this paper systematically reviews the main
paths of h-index study and related progress. In the end, the paper points out that the significance of h-index to
academic evaluation lies more likely on providing an opportunity to think back the fundamental issues of the
academic evaluation system. |
