| The paper examines the development of the US E-Book market in recent years,as well as the E-Book services supplied by US libraries.The new capping policy established by HarperCollins is introduced in the context of E-Book ecology. The attitudes and reactions of the libranians and the libraries toward the policy arementioned,especially in terms of the influences of this event on libraries,the economical analysis of E-Books as well as the discussion related to user rights,Finally, the future of libraries in the E-Book Era is discussed. |
