针对我国海洋二号卫星散射计(HY2 SCAT)空间分辨率不高的缺点,进行了HY2 SCAT高分辨率后向散射系数(sigma0)重构技术仿真研究,并将该技术应用到台风条件下的高分辨率风矢量反演。利用图像重构技术,分别获得了与外波束前视、外波速后视、内波束前视、内波束后视对应的高分辨率sigma0,并用于台风风矢量反演。结果表明,采用图像重构技术获得的高分辨率sigma0可更加准确地识别台风的风眼,并可获得与面元匹配技术相当的风速反演精度,但是风向反演精度有所降低。 |

An image reconstruction technology was developed to get high resolution backscattering coefficient(sigma0)for China’s HaiYang 2 scatterometer(HY2 SCAT), and this technology was also applied to retrieval of high resolution wind fields in typhoon conditions. A simulation approach was used to produce the sigma0s and the corresponding aperture function for each HY2 SCAT measurement pulse in typhoon conditions. These simulated sigma0s were regrouped into four groups according to the look geometry, which were forward look for inner beam, afterward look for inner beam, forward look for outer beam and afterward look for outer beam. After that a Block AART image reconstruction technology was used to get the resolution enhanced sigma0s for each sigma0 group. And then the enhanced sigma0s were used to retrieve the high resolution wind fields, and the results showed that the resolution enhanced sigma0s improved the accuracy of typhoon eye identification. In the meantime, the accuracy of the wind speed retrieved from the resolution enhanced sigma0 was comparable to the traditional “drop in the bucked” sigma0 regroup approach, but the wind direction retrieval accuracy was decreased. |
