In the era of digitalization and Internet, knowledge innovation has become a key factor for an organization to gain competitive advantages. At the same time, how to use the new generation of information technology to automatically acquire knowledge from vast amount of literatures, data and documents for approaching the challenges such like how to organize and apply knowledge effectively, how to use knowledge innovation to serve the development of national major scientific and technological study, and how to solve practical problems in production practice has become an important topic.
In order to promote the application and development for new theory, technology and method of knowledge engineering, knowledge management and knowledge service, and to discuss open-data and data-sharing, knowledge service innovation, information analysis technology, information service trend and strategic, we will host the 2018 Annual Conference of the Society of Knowledge Organization of China and 2018 Conference on Knowledge Service and Intelligence Engineering from October 11 to 12, 2018.
The conference will focus on the field of Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Service including knowledge acquisition, data sharing, knowledge organization and knowledge service, artificial intelligence, big-data analysis, social media computing and industry think tank construction. The conference will invite domestic and foreign experts for academic exchanges, whom come from Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University, Wuhan University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southeast University, Japan Science and Technology Agency, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, etc.
The Best Practices Reports Award of knowledge service were set up in the annual conference last year, which were warmly welcomed by the participants. Thereby, this conference will continue to collect the best project practice reports on knowledge service, and the excellent projects will be recommended to the China Association of Science and Technology Information for the "Intelligence Science Award" in 2019. This year's best practice projects are not opened to personal participants. We welcome the institutional participants to submit their projects which have made significant impact in the field of knowledge services.
