| The development of industrial biotechnology has a long history in Germany. The application the industrial biotechnology in the various sectors of national economy grows rapidly. Through the development of industrial biotechnology, Germany has improved industrial competitiveness and furthermore a lot of employment opportunities have been created. The development of industrial biotechnology in Germany benefited from the factors such as strong industrial base, technological advantages, but suffered from the lack of venture capital and supporting policies. Therefore, the development of industrial biotechnology policy should be studied. |
