| Aiming at being a European leader in biotechnology, the Federal Government of Germany has made a series of measures to eliminate barriers to biotechnology growth, develop new key fields of biotechnology and orient its support strategy to the links in the sector’s innovation chain. The article focuses on Germany’s strategy and policy on biotechnology development, the key field of biotechnology R&D and the Framework Program Biotechnology, then depicts the development status and prospects of biotechnology in Germany. |
