| On January 13, 2020, the U.S. Department of Finance issued two final regulations to implement the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act (FIRRMA), which further expanded the jurisdiction of CFIUS, and tightened the control over key technologies and data. Foreign investors and enterprises will face a more complex regulatory framework, which will have a significant impact on global technology and investment patterns. China should actively promote the opening of economy and S&T based on the demand of world investment and development. |
