| The UK is playing a world-leading role in research and innovation. Its increasing strength in science, technology and innovation is closely related to the establishment and continuous improvement of its research management, supervision and evaluation mechanisms. From the perspectives of different stakeholders such as the government, industry, universities, and scientific research institutions, this paper presents the research evaluation policies, practices, and typical cases in the UK, introduces its measures on research evaluation information systems development and data sharing, as well as implications for the development of research evaluation system in China. |
