| This paper focuses on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on German research and innovation policies. Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, the ongoing impact of the pandemic has caused significant damage to German R&D. To ensure a successful technological transition and maintain Germany’s global competitiveness in innovation, the German federal government has adopted a stimulus package to provide an important policy impetus to the economy. |
