      生物技术已成为国际科技发展重点和竞争焦点,生物领域高被引科学家群体的壮大以及 影响力的不断提升是显著标志之一,2024 年生物领域高被引科学家数量已占全球总数的 57.1%。以 2014—2024 年科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”名单中生物领域的中美两国高被引科学家数据为基础, 从总量、优势、重点等结构维度及产出、转化等质量效益维度,对中美生物领域科学人才的现状进行 对比分析,阐述了中国生物科技人才队伍建设存在的问题及面临的挑战,提出了培养发展生物人才的 对策与建议,包括制定专项规划,加强生物领域人才培养发展;加强原始创新与促进成果转化协同推进; 优化资源配置,打造“非对称创新”优势领域;强化自主创新,加强国际合作的战略性布局。
英文摘要:
      Biotechnology has become a focal point in global scientific development and international competition. One significant indicator is the continuous expansion and growing influence of highly cited researchers in the life sciences, who accounted for 57.1% of the global total in 2024. This study leverages Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers lists (2014–2024) to analyze Chinese and American scientific talent in the life sciences. We compare the two nations across structural dimensions (e.g., scale, disciplinary strengths, focus areas) and quality-efficiency metrics (e.g., research output, translational impact). Through data-driven insights, we identify challenges in China’s biotech talent ecosystem and propose the following strategies:develop specialized plans to strengthen talent cultivation in the life sciences; enhance original innovation while promoting the translation of research achievements; optimize resource allocation to build “asymmetric innovation” advantages; strengthen indigenous innovation capabilities and bolster strategic deployment of international cooperation.
