| China’s initiative to build Innovation Base for BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution (BRICS Innovation Base) is of great significance. It not only enables the BRICS countries to seize the opportunities brought by the new Industrial Revolution, but also deepen the BRICS partnership and promote innovative development in BRICS countries. Summarized the achievements of the BRICS innovation base in the fields of policy coordination, personnel training and project development, analyzed its shortcomings in the construction and development and the challenges brought by the internal and external development environment, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for its innovative development. . It is proposed that the BRICS Innovation Base should consolidate the BRICS partnership, firmly grasp the essence of innovation, base itself on the new industrial revolution, strengthen policy coordination, personnel training and project development at a high level, explore a new paradigm of global science and technology governance, enhance scientific and technological innovation capacity, foster new drivers of economic development, and contribute to high-quality development of BRICS countries. |
