| 美国高度关注高技术产业发展。在过去的半个世纪中，美国高技术产业的内涵不断演化，共经历了四个发展阶段。如今美国已形成融制造业和服务业于一体的知识技术密集型产业，其产业规模居世界首位。与之相比，中国高技术产业内涵与分类标准却迟迟没有推陈出新。作为国家战略必争领域，中国必须高度重视培育知识技术密集型产业；并从打造产业链视角出发，促进知识技术密集型产业与相关产业协调发展。 |

| The United States devotes significant attention to the development of high technology industry. The connotation of high-tech industry in the United States has evolved and undergone four distinct stages of development during the past half century. Today, the United States has integrated manufacturing and service industries into the knowledge- and technology-intensive industry with the largest industrial scale in the world. In contrast, China’s high-tech industry’s connotation and classification criteria have not been updated. As a national strategic imperative, China must pay high attention to encouraging knowledge- and technology-intensive industries. At the same time, from the perspective of building industrial chains, it should promote the coordinated development of knowledge- and technology-intensive industries and related industries. |
